Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) delivers products and solutions that improve the return on investment in our enterprise-wide Salesforce deployments, deliver products that make running Salesforce at Amazon scale easier, and improve overall governance and security by operating Salesforce at Amazon scale.
The Professional Services Team, within SFSC, is looking for an experienced Sr. Solutions Architect to lead and build Salesforce + AWS solutions for internal Amazon teams.
You will partner with Salesforce developers, software engineers, product managers, external consulting partners, and our customers to deliver enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions to teams across Amazon.

We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends.
Key job responsibilities
- Act as a strategic technical leader to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote & accelerate adoption of Salesforce to internal teams.
- Ensure customer & partner success in designing, building and maintaining applications, software, and services on the Salesforce + AWS.
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on Salesforce and AWS while ensuring solutions can be reused across Amazon.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Salesforce community at Amazon.
- In partnership with the SFSC product management, Salesforce Sales and external consultant (e.g., Slalom, Accenture) teams, formulate, and execute an enablement strategy to grow adoption of SFSC professional services and deeper adoption of Salesforce at Amazon.

Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) at Amazon is a dedicated central team providing Salesforce expertise and managed services to help teams across Amazon accelerate their Salesforce journey.
We remove the muck of operating Salesforce at Amazon scale.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation / consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle
- Experience managing teams
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Advanced Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000 / year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
