Job Overview : A law firm in New York City is seeking a talented Structured Finance Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing financial institutions in various asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions.
Duties :
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents related to asset-backed securitizations and structured lending transactions.
- Conducting legal research and providing analysis on complex financial and regulatory issues.
- Advising clients on structuring and executing transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with senior attorneys and clients to develop strategies and solutions for transactional matters.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission via reciprocity).
- 2-3 years of experience in structured finance, asset-backed securitizations, or related fields.
- Proven track record of representing financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and purchasers.
Education and Certifications :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Skills :
- Strong understanding of capital markets, structured finance, and financial regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work product.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience at a large law firm specializing in structured finance.
- Familiarity with esoteric securitizations such as whole business, digital infrastructure, and media royalty securitizations.
