Job Title : Electrician

Pay : $26-32 / hour dependent on experience

Job Description

Looking for electricians to help on the Port of Norfolk. Will be installing galvanized Rigid, PVC coated rigid, and aluminum rigid conduit.

Must have experience working with 1-inch to 3-inch rigid conduit. Commercial electricians are eligible but they must have the right conduit experience.

MUST be willing to submit to a 10-year bckrnd check

Must be able to work with the conduit types above

Must have at least 5 years of experience

Electrical license is preferred but not required

Hard Skills

• 5 years of experience or more
• Experience with 1-inch to 3-inch rigid conduit
• Commercial electrical experience
• Ability to work with galvanized Rigid, PVC coated rigid, and aluminum rigid conduit

Soft Skills

• Industrial experience is a plus
• No residential experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Work Environment

Must be okay with working outdoors in all weather. Required : hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses.
