The renowned Butler Hospital is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to lead our Senior Treatment Unit in Providence, Rhode Island.
The Senior Treatment Unit provides comprehensive care and support for adults ages 65 and over who have a variety of psychiatric conditions, including memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, depression, anxiety, and other cognitive disorders that may cause behavioral difficulties.
Opportunity Highlights :
- Inpatient focused on a 20-bed unit with optional outpatient and dedicated admin time
- Average of 10 patients per day
- Monday through Friday with rotational call
- Teaching / Academic time with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired)
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
