Starting Salary :

$102,106 to $127,633 annually

What You'll Accomplish

The Director, of Total Reward s and HR Operations will oversee the Museum of Science's HR Operations, Compensation, and Benefits programs.

HR Operations

  • Develop and implement HR operational strategies aligned with the Museum's mission and objectives .
  • Streamline and improve HR processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead and manage the HR operations team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of HR services.

HRIS Management and Optimization

  • Manage the HRIS system (UKG) and optimize its functionality for data management, reporting, and employee self-service as the Museum evolves
  • Oversee HR reporting and analytics. Develop and maintain HR data dashboards to drive insights and support data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to maintain and enhance HRIS functionality.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities.

Compensation & Benefits Programs

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the museum's goals and ensure competitiveness within the industry.
  • Conduct regular market analyses to benchmark compensation and benefits programs.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, Leave policies and other employee perks .
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation and benefits regulations , including FLSA, ACA, and ERISA.
  • Responsible for accommodation management for the Museum

Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the HR team.
  • Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the museum in collaboration with the HR leadership team
