job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMD / DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible (cert required within 3 years) by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida or ability to obtain one. Minimum of 3 years of post-residency OB / GYN experience is highly preferred. Excellent compensation package with base compensation beginning at $380,000 / year, plus $50,000 starting bonus, plus annual performance incentive, plus annual retention bonus! Full portfolio of benefits including health / vision / dental insurance along with malpractice coverage, disability coverage, deferred compensation, and matching retirement savings options from day 1! Annual CME stipend in addition to 5 days of paid time for CME attendance. Paid NICA, Florida?License, Florida DEA, and Membership to American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in addition to the CME stipend. No state income tax! Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist to join our growing Womens Health team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Lakeland, Florida. This is a full-time position offering a flexible schedule of seven 24-hour shifts per month , providing comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. You will be supported by a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to ensure collaborative, high-quality care for our patients. Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital is slated to open July 2026!
Highlights / Responsibilities :
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor and delivery, triage, obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, and postpartum care.
- Full-time physicians enjoy a flexible monthly schedule of seven 24 / hour shifts.
- Ability to pick up additional shifts. No on-call.
- Manage unassigned OB patients and support private-practice physicians as needed.
- Perform deliveries, cesarean sections, and other emergent gynecologic surgeries.
- Collaborate with CNMs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
