About The Position
Job Title : L&D Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : To be discussed during the interview Shift : Varied;
Call required for 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period Guaranteed Hours : To be discussed during the interview Experience : 2+ years of L&D experience required License : Registered Nurse license Certifications : - BLS- ACLS- NRP- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and EFM certification preferred Must-Have : Ability to handle high acuity patients- Strong collaboration and adaptability skills- Familiarity with Epic EMR system Job Description : Work in a 19-bed labor and delivery unit with patient ratios of 1-2 : 1.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and delivery.- Demonstrate proficiency in managing high acuity cases.- Participate in on-call schedules as required.
- Adapt to floating assignments and work effectively across various units.- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the core staff.
- Adhere to strict deadlines for documentation and credential submission.- Comply with designated scrub color requirements : Galaxy Blue and / or other specified colors.
- Contribute positively to a welcoming and inclusive unit culture.Note : All requests for time off or schedule changes must be submitted at the time of application.
