Implementation Specialist - Medical Device - Heart Failure - Southeast
Job Description
This is a remote field-based position. Candidates from alternative southeastern cities are encouraged to apply.
The Implementation Specialist (IS) is responsible for training and support of hospital and clinical staff at the time of product introduction.
The product launch will be part of a larger clinical workflow implementation; the IS will be instrumental in workflow adoption and product uptake.
The role requires building of relationships with stakeholders within the health system (e.g., physicians, pharmacists, nurses, administrators) who are involved in implementation clinical workflow.
Experience working in a clinical environment such as the Emergency Department, Outpatient clinic, or procedural lab is preferred.
The IS will be responsible for communicating successes and challenges to product adoption and workflow implementation. The product represents a paradigm shift in treatment for heart failure patients;
this person will be nimble, solution oriented, and an excellent communicator both internally and externally to the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Our employees are tasked with driving successful product implementation and growth within assigned IDN’s. This implementation and growth will stem from :
- Train and Support IDN / Hospital staff on Product within workflow and compliance guidelines
- Prior experience in clinical settings such as Emergency Department, Medical Clinic, Inpatient Floor preferred
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective implementation strategies
- Conduct product presentations, educational programs, and in-service training for healthcare professionals to increase awareness and understanding drug / device combo product and its implications for the hospital and patient
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, market dynamics, and competitor insights to support product positioning and commercialization efforts.
- Utilize Veeva / Salesforce to track implementation and feedback
- Travel : Up to 60% of the time

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

- Experience and familiarity with clinical environment
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Utilize Veeva / Salesforce to track implementation status and feedback
- Utilize Microsoft suite of products to communicate messages internally and externally
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including networking, influencing, presentation, and written and verbal communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education Bachelor’s Degree, Medical technician, RN / BSN, or LPN
- Experience and / or Training Experience and comfort in clinical settings (ED, Outpatient, Inpatient)
- Licenses / Certificates Driving Record
- Technology / Equipment Fully functional in Microsoft Suite Programs
