The Badging Officer will be responsible for processing security and access permissions for personnel and others requiring building access.

The Badging Officer will be familiar with specified procedures, policies and process's as set forth for the position in post orders.

This position will also activate or deactivate photo identification cards, program of access using the client software program, monitor CCTV, alarm programming for guard responses, answer security telephones, office filing, record keeping, and other similar duties as specified in post orders.

Security Badging Officer Site Location : Huntsville, AlabamaStarting Base Pay : $18.99 / Hour.Employment Type : Full TimeShifts Available : MorningsOvernight Shift : & AM - 3 PMWorkdays Available : Monday - FridayCompetitive pay rates Weekly Pay Career Advancement OpportunitiesRESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concernsProcess badges and maintain appropriate logs regarding the issuance, return and track all associated actionsMonitor and regulate the daily activities to ensure compliance with site policies and proceduresRetain and maintain all access control documents, as well as conduct audits on access control records Record and report any incidents to the Site Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Site Security Manager Acknowledge and share pass down information with officers on shiftMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post OrdersQUALIFICATIONS : High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of six (6) months of prior security professional experience, preferably with a focus on access credentialingEffective oral and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office ApplicationsAble to assess and evaluate situations effectivelyIdentify critical issues quickly and accuratelyResearch, investigate, compile informationWrite informatively, clearly, and accuratelyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Prior military or civilian law enforcement experienceCollege degree in Criminal JusticeBENEFITS : Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEnrollment in our company's 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirementsSeven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments.
