Skills : Telemetry AND PCU / DOU / IClient / StepdowN experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required.

Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line / care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience

Certs : ACLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : NIH, Charge experience

JOB DETAILS : Ratios : 1 : 6-7

Shift : NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 or 48 hours. If 48 THEN NO OT BILLED UNTIL AFTER 48. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!

RTO : 7 days MAX;

Float Requirement : YES REQUIRED

Weekend Requirement : 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.

Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc).

Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE : Self

UNIT ORIENTATION : 24 hours

SCRUBS : Navy

INTERNAL NOTES

MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.

NM must interview prior to finalizing the offer

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)
