ELMUtility Services, with over 1300 employees nationwide, has an outstandingopportunity as a Gas Post Maintenance Monitor, working in the Utah areas ofWeber, Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele and Utah County.
This is a temporary positionas this project is expected to last approximately four months with an averageof 40 hours per week.
With a minimum starting pay from $20.00 per hour DOQ, youwill be provided paid training by ELM using ELM equipment, including companyprovided vehicle to work independently as your mobile office.
ELM utilizes ourLaunchPoint software system with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the jobis as simple and efficient as possible for our technicians.
ELM Techniciansprovide a service to their community ensuring the gas, electric, communicationssystems, etc. are maintained and dependable by performing excellent qualitymarking of utilities to prevent excavation damage to these critical facilities.

Yourspecific duties in this role will include, but not limited to :
- Workingindependently outdoors utilizing your company-provided vehicle as your mobileoffice, you will work a route of marker post requests to be completed each day.
- MonitoringGas Marker U-Posts and replacing appropriate sleeves and stickers, securing thesleeves with a rivet
- Completeall necessary digital documentation and paperwork
- Receivedaily route by logging in each morning from your vehicle / mobile office handheldsmartphone. No need to come to an office every day.
The day normally will startat your residence and ends on the last locate job completed.
Thiswill entail walking 5 plus miles each day throughout different terrain
Specificqualifications for the position include :
Abilityto pass a pre-employment drug screen.
