Reporting to our General Manager, the Project Manager will support the Operations department and act as a liaison with Field and Transportation Support. Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Ensures adherence to safety and compliance by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Works with customers to develop and implement solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates all project activities
  • Communicates project functions to field teams and customers
  • Directs changes and provides solutions for all field work
  • Capable of building effective schedules for project work
  • Participates in site walks to gain full understanding of project scope
  • Prepares cost estimates for customer projects including the ability to effectively source all (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, etc.

  • Manages project costs and ensures they are within budgetary expectations.
  • Reviews employee time sheets and worksheets and ensures accurate invoicing and payroll.
  • Identifies change conditions and prepares written change orders
  • Responsible for the submittal of accurate, timely and complete documentation
  • Responsible for the positive financial performance of the project.
  • Prepares field reports for all projects and ensures that all pertinent supporting documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Manages multiple projects and performs other duties as assigned. Assisting with implementing new processes and systems.

Job Requirements

College degree and 3-8 total years of construction / environmental experience years, with 3 years managing projects preferred;

GED with 7+ years of project experience and demonstrated project management experience.

  • Knowledge of Safety, Human Resources, and administration

  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
  • Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks.
