About BestLife - Emotional Health & Wellness

The BestLife Emotional Health & Wellness Center offers compassionate, person-centered mental health and substance use treatment for individuals, families, and couples. Whether challenges are short-term or ongoing, BestLife provides evidence-based care to support emotional well-being and recovery.

Services include assessments, therapy (individual, group, family, couples), substance use treatment, co-occurring disorder care, medication management, case coordination, and recovery support. Care is delivered by licensed clinicians and overseen by a board-certified psychiatrist.

Position Summary

The Mental Health Association is hiring immediately for a Licensed Bi-lingual / Bi-Cultural (Spanish) Clinician.  The Clinician will work in a community behavioral health setting, providing services to individuals, couples and / or families experiencing a mental health and / or substance use need.  Services will include provision of comprehensive assessment, ongoing counseling for mental health, substance use and co-occurring presentations, case management and collaboration, referrals to community support services and psychoeducation, utilizing evidence-based practices. The Clinician will work with the Clinic Director to design and lead / co-lead groups meeting the unique needs of the greater community and agency.

Pay Rate : $63,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, treatment planning, and consultation for pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as indicated by the clinical team.
• Collaborate with program teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans.
• Actively participate in all licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
• Serve as a liaison to service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure effective communication and contract compliance.
• Build and maintain partnerships with agencies and organizations to promote services and explore new funding opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through trainings, conferences, and participation in statewide committees or task forces.
• Consistently promote and model MHA’s mission, values, and principles in all work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support program and agency goals.
