About The Position
Job Title : Physician Job Specialty : Hospitalist Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day - 4x10 - 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM, 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum 2 Years License : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Certifications : BLS and ACLS Required Must-Have : Flexibility and willingness to join a pre-credentialed pool for future confirmed dates Job Description : Work in a 600-bed critical access hospital with a closed ICU.
- Handle inpatient cases, including managing ICU patients (ACLS and CHG Required).- Conduct non-invasive ventilation management (BiPAP / CPAP).
- Interpret EKGs effectively.- Optional procedures include elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
- Provide care to adult patients, managing up to 15 patients per day with up to 2 admissions.- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and management.
- No call responsibilities required.- Be open to varying shift times including 8 : 00 AM-6 : 00 PM or 3 : 00 PM-1 : 00 AM.
- Required to work 15 shifts, beginning January 2025.- Must be willing to credential for a hospital setting.- All specialty backup is available.- Holiday coverage required.
