Job ResponsibilitiesAdministering nursing care in ALFs, SNFs, and other post-acute carefacilities Working with residents and medical staff to devise careplans Ensuring residents receive the right personalized treatmentsand medications Explaining best options for care with residents andtheir family members Consulting with other healthcareprofessionals, including doctors Setting up medical equipment andmonitoring their use Overseeing the compliance with facilitypolicies and nursing standards Documenting and checking theaccuracy of interventions and medical histories Performing fluidsample draws for lab work Leading the training and supervision ofnursing staff Assisting with incident investigations and checkingfor accuracy of reporting Qualifications and Skills CurrentMassachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)Completion of an approved nursing program At least 4 months'experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospitalsettings Strong communication and organizational skills Get theWork-Life Balance You Deserve Working as a registered nurse is morethan just a job, but you deserve the flexibility to have a fulllife outside of scrubs, too.
