Are you ready to shape the future of non-lethal weapons and protect life? Axon is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Axon Civilian division.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the next generation of TASER weapon experiences that empower civilians to defend themselves.

What You’ll Do

Location : Onsite at our Scottsdale, AZ HQ 3 days a week

Reports to : VP / GM, Axon Civilian

Direct Reports : None

  • Drive the Civilian product roadmap with market and customer insights.
  • Create buy-in and drive alignment across functions while bringing clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities.
  • Support the vision and strategy development for the Civilian business, driving innovation and growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.

develop roadmaps, and guide the team through key milestones.

  • Instrument and measure product and feature utilization, and then leverage the insights to refine and enhance the product.
  • Consistently demonstrate initiative and execute with limited oversight. Take ownership of proposing and specifying work through comprehensive 1-pagers and PRDs (Product Requirement Documents).

What You Bring

  • 5+ years relevant Product Management experience ideally shipping handheld hardware or consumer electronics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative market and product research.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business needs, translating technical complexities into clear requirements, and communicating effectively with engineers.
  • Direct experience working with engineers to balance scope, time to market, and functionality, constantly making trade-offs using qualitative, quantitative, and absent data.
  • Experience honing hardware prototypes to prioritize manufacturability with high yield and low cost.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering successful products that achieve key business outcomes.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when necessary (15%).
  • Excellent problem solving skills, well-structured written and verbal communication.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to question and challenge the status quo at all levels of the organization.

Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.

The Pay : Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 110,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 200,000 in the highest geographic market.

The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 170,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 310,000 in the highest geographic market.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
