Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician - Triage.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with nurses, physicians, and caregivers

Manage incoming phone calls and emails to de-escalate and troubleshoot customer issues

Process prescription refills and submit electronic insurance claims

Required Qualifications

Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred

Must have a current TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License within the first 30 days of employment

Ability to handle a large number of inbound calls

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Understanding of basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions
