About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Acute Rehab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM, 3 x 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2+ years of recent, strong rehab experience in a hospital setting required.
Acute rehab and medical / surgical experience highly preferred. License : Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications : BLS-AHA, NIHSS Must-Have : - Strong rehab experience- Ability to float to medical / surgical telemetry units if needed Job Description : Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.- Manage care of patients.- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work in a 40-bed acute rehab facility. - No on-call requirements. Preferred Skills & Experience : Minimum 2 years of acute rehab and medical / surgical experience.
