ESSENTIAL DUTIES (What needs to be done in order to achieve desired results.)
- Ensures work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Washer is expected to clean all equipment / utensils brought to the washroom.
- Provide a profession and team oriented work environment
GENERAL DESCRIPTION (Describe this job assuming it is for someone who has never done it.)
- Washing of all dirty tanks, inside and out
- Washing of all dirty tumblers, trays, totes and dollies
- Drying of the tumblers and returning them to drying room
- Cleaning the gelatin tubes, and the medicine hoses, plus any other large items of machinery, such as medicine hoppers etc.
and washed hoses to the machine room
- Washing of all small items of equipment, such as stirrers, scrappers, jugs, buckets, containers etc.
- Cleaning all, hoses and valves and flushing of all transfer pumps.
- Processes capsules to be reclaimed
- Responsible to follow all SOPs and cGMP procedures set out by InnovaGel.
- Expected to help in other departments if the washer has spare time
- All Med Prep Operators (Includes : Med Prep Operators, Med Prep Washroom Operators and Med Prep SME) must have understanding and knowledge needed about safety SOP’s and the requirements for the position to ensure a safer working environment.
All precautions and processes must be adhered to in order to maintain a high level of safety compliance.
- Other duties as assigned
