Aescape is looking for a Technical Program Manager, Robotics who can lead and execute complex cross-functional projects to deliver innovative software-generated massage content and next-gen content tools.

You'll be collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product management, design, marketing, and external partners as we redefine the massage therapy experience through technology.

What You'll Do

As a Technical Program Manager, Robotics at Aescape you will drive large, cross-functional programs related to software generated massage content and next gen content tool development.

This requires partnering with engineering and product management to facilitate all aspects of projects : define, schedule, prioritize, track, proactively manage and communicate status of projects.

You will lead efforts across teams representing multiple layers of the content development as well as other cross-functional partners including various parts of software engineering, hardware, product, design, marketing, partnership and other organizations within and outside of Aescape.

Strong written and verbal communication is key as you drive projects forward, prioritize work, facilitate the removal of obstacles and escalate risks.

  • In collaboration with Product Management and Engineering, manage content programs through their complete lifecycle, including next gen content tooling research and development.
  • Own cross-functional content development and production timeline, critical path and responsible for the delivery of new content to Partners and Members.
  • Assist with requirements documentation, user story creation, develop detailed project plans, and identify tasks, roles and responsibilities.
  • Track milestones and dependencies, ensure on-time completion of tasks from all relevant teams.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate and resolve risks and issues.
  • Keep senior management apprised of program status and communicate issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze development processes and identify areas for improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of SW program management experience, 4+ years with robotics : A successful track record of leading and shipping multiple complex software and content projects, with a focus on the robotics industry in the past two years.
  • Strong "hands-on" technology program management skills including extensive use of JIRA and other project management tools.
  • Experience delivering project features involving cross-team collaboration, anticipating needs, mitigating risks, and facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to implement Agile methodologies then running daily standups, backlog grooming and sprint sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong influencing skills and the ability to drive to clarity in ambiguous settings.
  • Curious mindset about new ideas and unafraid to ask the hard questions.
  • A self-starter who is able to manage through ambiguity
  • Engineering degree and a passion for both robotics and our customers.
  • A working knowledge of robot control & vision systems and an ability to break down complex technical concepts for a wider audience.
  • Experience with cobots or autonomous systems that operate in proximity to humans.
  • A background of structured problem solving and a data-driven approach, familiarity with analytics and comfort with developing metrics & reports.
