Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) - School District Near Long Beach, CA

Soliant Health is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a school district near Long Beach, CA.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse student population and make a meaningful impact on their communication skills.

The role will begin on August 26 and will continue through November, with an anticipated need extending until late April.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights on student needs and progress
• Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and apply them in the school setting

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Valid California state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality services to students with diverse needs
