CDL A Midwest Regional Truck Drivers
Rate per Mile (Years of Driving Experience) :
Weekly Load Minimum - $180
1 Year : $0.70
2 Years : $0.71
3 Years : $0.72
4 Years : $0.73
5 Years : $0.74
6 Years : $0.75
7 Years : $0.76
- All miles paid loaded & empty (unless going home)
- Additional stops and pick-ups : $40
- Driver unload pay
- Detention pay
- Layover / Breakdown Pay
- Pet Policy Available
- Rider policy available after 3 months
- All lumpers are paid for by JBS
- Mandatory $0.10 cents Per Diem
- Drivers can expect occasional nights at home per week, depending on home location (not guaranteed)
- Average 1600 2000 miles per week
BENEFITS & BONUSES :
- $1,500 Retention Bonus
- Health Benefits : vision, medical, and dental coverage. Benefit eligibility begins after 60 days of employment
- Paid : sick leave and six company observed holidays
- 401(k) match of up to 50% on the first 4% of contributions. Company match begins at one year of service and follows a five year vesting schedule.
- Rider Policy : available after 3 months
- Simplified Orientation : Starts online and concludes at your local terminal
- Bonuses : Retention and monthly safety bonuses
- Up to a $3,100 bonus per driver referral : $50 every week of your referred driver's first year$500 bonus when your referred driver hits 3 months
WORK & ROUTE :
- Average Weekly Miles : 1,600 and up to 2,000
- Main Driving Region : Multi-State
- Truck Assignments : could be at any JBS terminal. No guarantee of being seated at your home terminal
- Most dispatches will be picking up a loaded trailer from one of the five Pork plants or 4 Beef plants, live unloading at customer, and empty bac
CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Requirements :
- At least 21 years old
- CDL-A with 6 months tractor trailer experience
- Must have 48’-53' tractor trailer experience
- Mentor and Training programs are available for drivers with less than 6 months of experience
