The Intake LVN is responsible for performing the Initial Medical Screening Assessments for incoming patients, and coordinates with the Medical Staff in directing the patient towards an appropriate level of care.

Qualifications Education : AA / AS Degree or Bachelor’s Level Degree in social work, psychology or related mental health field preferred, PhD and PsyD candidates in terminal degree programs with Masters equivalent or a degree from an accredited program in nursing preferred.
Experience : A minimum of one year direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations.
Licensure : LVN Licensure Required Additional Requirement : CPR with AED (CPR / AED) certification required.
