Job Responsibilities

A nationally recognized architecture and design firm is looking to add an Architectural Project Assistant to their team! This individual will work under a Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities :

The Architectural Project Assistant will research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems. This position may be exposed to a variety of healthcare, education, civic, housing, and commercial architectural projects.

• Interfaces with project managers, project teams, consultants, and clients
• Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-disciplinary design teams
• Conducts site planning and zoning research
• May attend planning and zoning, and / or municipal meetings
• Provides code review and analysis for projects
• Creates detailed plans for complex architectural construction drawings
• Utilizes Revit / AutoCAD to develop project designs, plans, and technical solutions for projects
• Utilizes Bluebeam for drawing review process
• Prepares and coordinates bid packages
• Confers with consultants to ensure fully coordinated drawing packages
• Performs and / or oversees construction administration tasks, including submittal review, fieldwork, and documentation
• Coordinates with QA / QC team
• Oversees lower-level draftspersons and technicians, if applicable, and evaluates their work

Requirements

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00 / yr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Scottsdale,AZ.
