As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
EMR - EPIC
- Avg. caseload We average 35-50 cases per day. Our expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.
- Special equipment We have 3 Davinci robots, we use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and we use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma.
We don’t do many ortho joints.
- How many suites We have 16 OR’s. We run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.
- Service lines - Cardiac / PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.
- Scrub or Circulate both would be preferred.
- Other the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.
Requirement Description
- 2+ years of current OR experience
- Scrub and Circulating experience
- strong experience in majority of cases including ortho, neuro, trauma, abdominal
- Level I experience
