Compensation : $142,000-$163,000 for NP / PA, depending on years since licensed, $197,000-$218,000 for MD / DO depending on when finished with residency, annual stipend, a sign-on bonus, and excellent benefits : medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, dependent and domestic partner coverage, 403(b) retirement savings plan, loan repayment programs, and commuter benefits.
LifeLong qualifies for federal and state loan repayment programs (HPSA score is 21). Acceptance rates may vary year to year based on funding levels and the number of applicants.

Responsibilities
The position’s duties will include a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including :
- Supervise (recruit, hire, train and evaluate) all physicians and advanced practice providers on site.
- Jointly oversee nursing and behavioral health clinicians in collaboration with the Center Director and the Behavioral Health Clinical Director & Director of Nursing
- Oversee existing Programs (., Triage, Scribe, Hep C, MAT, HIV) which includes some direct supervision of staff and partner with other departments, clinics, and managers across the organization to develop and implement new programs.
- Work closely with CMO / Operations Team and Center Director to ensure cooperative relationships between clinical and administrative staff.
- Interact and collaborate with other clinic medical directors and operational leads on clinical targets, quality improvement and quality assurance measures. Utilizes Tableau.
- Ongoing involvement in provider recruitment and retention efforts.
- Provide direct patient care in a diverse fast-moving health center.
- Collaboration with other administrative leaders such as CFO, COO, Director of Planning, Director of Pharmacy, and Director of QI.

- Participate in leadership and committee meetings requiring clinical representation such as AMD (Associate Medical Director), AMD / CD, QI and P&T.
- In collaboration with the Center Director, lead and facilitate site level meetings
- Participate actively in collaborative care, team building and training
- Working with the Center Director to ensure adequate clinical schedule coverage.
- Addresses corrective action issues with provider staff.
- Responsible with Center Director for financial sustainability of their site.

Job Requirements
- Individual must be a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant possessing a current CA Medical Licensure and BLS certification
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to providing health services to vulnerable persons in outpatient primary care.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, Epic preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Prior management experience preferred.
