DutiesMeeting with instructor, responding to student inquiries and marking student homework and discussion posts. Helping lead academic skills and writing workshops during class time.
Offering some office hours to meet with students directly. The position may also include attending some lectures. The delivery method for this course is currently in-person.

Duties of this position shall be performed at the campus on which the position is located. Final availability of the position(s) is contingent upon enrolment, budgetary considerations and the determination of appointments as governed by the collective agreement.
Minimum Qualifications Graduate degree in progress in cognate field in Humanities or Social Sciences preferred. Preferred Qualifications Strong background in academic writing-based coursework is required.
Experience teaching writing or helping with research in a library setting is an asset. Research and / or teaching experience on issues relating to Canadian universities an asset.
Preference will be given to University of Toronto graduate students.Relevant CriterionPrevious experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
