Immigration Attorney

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is seeking an experienced Immigration attorney to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage + assist clients with their employment-based immigration matters, including PERM, H-1B, L-1, E-1 and E-2, O-1, TN, J-1 waivers, and EB-1 through EB-5 cases
• Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of immigration laws and regulations
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with prospective clients
• Supervise and mentor associates and staff

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed (or willing and able to become licensed) and in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan.
• 8+ years of relevant employment-based immigration experience
• Experience obtaining temporary and permanent immigration status for professionals and highly skilled foreign nationals and preparing nonimmigrant visa applications
• Experience representing clients in immigration appeals and immigration court is a plus
