Serco supports the US Government customer on a long-term contract providing broad experience in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management.
Our team provides business support and expertise to include tracking program status, monitoring cost, schedule and contract performance.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer to deliver business expertise with an emphasis on contracts, finance, and customer service.
Our managers on this team are seasoned Serco personnel who are available and responsive to ensure your success!
In this role, you will :
- Draft pre-solicitation documents that reflect the Government's requirements while adhering to all applicable customer policies and federal regulations.
- Draft acquisition strategy documents and assist the Government in implementing the strategies.
- Advise in the interpretation and tailoring of DoD / customer acquisition regulations / memorandums.
- Ensure affordable, supportable, and effective systems are delivered to the customer.
- Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management.
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $129,622.00 to $216,035.
91; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have :
- An active TS / SCI clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Twelve (12) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management is required.
- A Bachelor's degree with a business or technical focus is required.
- In lieu of a degree, DAWIA Level II in any focus area and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen (15) years may be substituted OR
- In lieu of certification, an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience writing pre-solicitation documents in compliance with customer Policy 8-2, including annexes, or another DoD Agency's similarly guiding acquisition policy.
- Experience in DoD source selection.
