Pay Range : $22.43 - $30.35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
MITER Brands is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.
We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Analyst to join our team at our Gratz, PA Operations Support building. In this role you will provide support to EHS teams across the entire MITER Brands portfolio. The position administers and maintains all company based EHS systems, including but not limited to, Velocity EHS and KPA. The position is also responsible for maintaining compliance records, as well as EHS metrics, which are utilized by all MITER Brands locations at various levels. The EHS Analyst will provide support to the MITER Brands EHS Directors to include supporting the EHS Roundtable and EHS Conference along with any other related activities determined by the MITER Brands EHS Directors and VP of Safety Excellence.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development of all safety guidelines / policies and related environmental health and safety communications and educational information to establish boundaries, guidelines, and best practices for acceptable behavior at MITER BrandsAdministration of the EHS Management Systems that our currently being utilized, including providing daily guidance and direction to leadership level on various aspects (such as submitting incidents and performing follow-up actions)Continuously monitor daily incidents from all MITER Brands locations for reporting accuracy and ensure they are effectively driven towards closure in a timely mannerEnter and maintain all recordable injuries in the OSHA 300 log and submit to OSHA on a yearly basis for all locationsProvide and Support development of leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives at all locationsMaintain all recordkeeping of EHS Policies and ProceduresWork with all MITER Brands EHS team members to ensure that all EHS documents are appropriately maintained, formatted, and controlled within the Quality Management SystemPerform regular trends of EHS systems, reports and matrixesPresent various EHS-related training to individuals and groups at different levels across the MITER Brands portfolioPerform other duties and functions as determined by MITER Brands EHS Directors and VP of Safety ExcellenceConduct quarterly analysis of safety data from all MITER Brands locations to identify trends and patterns in incidents and communicate those to site EHS and Operational teamsEnsure continuity across all EHS programs and systemsAll other duties as assignedQualifications
High School / College or EHS knowledgeMinimum of 1 year of experience directing people or working in group settingStrong communication and interpersonal skills as you will work one-on-one with all levels of the organizationProficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Prior experience training small and large groupsAbout Us
