School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)
StartDate : 10 / 15 / 2024 Available Shifts : 7.5 D Pay Rate : $1172.14 - $1350.50
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Ganado, Arizona to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages.
This School Psychologist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population (treating mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conduct disorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development.
Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue.
They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
They will also coordinate outreach activities that support students and families including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc.
Required Qualifications
AZ State License
Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
State Certification and / or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment

Ganado is a small town in Apache County and part of the Navajo Nation. Culture seekers can get a slice of history at the Hubbell Trading Post National Historical Site, a preserved trading post that documents a historical meeting between the Navajo and the settlers who came to the land.
It is the oldest continually operated trading post on the reservation. Outdoors types flock to the Petrified Forest National Park, which is a brief daytrip away.
The park features some of the world's largest and most beautiful concentrations of petrified wood.
