Job Title : Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Staff Augmentation Job Duration : 52 weeks Shift : Day 8 : 00 AM-12 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Occupational Therapist License Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Flexible timing availability, up to 20 hours a week Job Description : - Assess clients' or consumers' physical capacities, developmental, and psychosocial functions including motor, cognitive, perceptual, behavioral, and physical capacities using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans for clients or consumers. - Determine appropriate therapy techniques and sequence, and coordinate treatment plans with other programs for overall client or consumer benefit.
- Provide consultation with clients or consumers, other healthcare professionals, and interested outside parties regarding client or consumer progress, recommendations for treatment, and integration of plans with other programs.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures. - Serve as an interdisciplinary team member and assess and recommend suitable adaptive equipment.
- Document evaluations, observations, and assessments of client or consumer performance, record treatment plans and revisions, requisition supplies and equipment, and maintain records.
- Stay updated with current knowledge relevant to occupational therapy through reading and attending in-service and mandated training sessions. - Attend staff meetings.
