Mergers and Acquisitions Transaction Coordinator

As a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Transaction Coordinator you will play a crucial role in supporting the M&A team through providing administrative support to the team. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Location : Clarksville, TN

Workplace : Onsite

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and update client and transaction databases
  • Ensure all required documents are collected, completed, and submitted accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines
  • Due Diligence : Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Transaction Support : Assist in the preparation of pitch books, investment memoranda, and other materials for internal and external presentations. Coordinate with executive level professionals during the transaction process.
  • Financial Modeling : Build and maintain complex financial models
  • Reporting : Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Education and Certification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

    • OR

  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related field, with exposure to M&A transactions preferred.

    • Qualifications :

  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel, as well as experience with financial databases
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
  • Time Management : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ethical Standards : High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
