$236 per week

About The Position

Weekly Pay $42.30 / hour - PTA at UC Davis Health Rehab Hospital, CA

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to adult inpatients under supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
  • Implement individualized care plans and therapeutic exercises for patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, and traumatic injuries.
  • Assist patients with mobility training, gait therapy, balance, and strength-building activities.
  • Monitor and document patient progress using Cerner EHR; communicate changes to supervising PTs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient recovery and independence.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and motivating therapy environment.
  • Work on a per diem, flexible schedule (day shift; weekend availability).
  • No call or float requirements.
  • Treat 4 5 patients daily, with an expectation of 6 hours of treatment per day.
  • Serve a 52-bed inpatient acute rehab unit, primarily treating TBI, SCI, and orthopedic trauma cases.
  • Must have an active California PTA license and at least 2 years experience in acute care or inpatient rehab.
  • Preferred : Current BLS certification and proficiency with Cerner EMR.
  • Ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, communicates well, and is committed to evidence-based practice.
