Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects on GCP, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Retail Expertise : Apply your deep understanding of the retail industry to guide project decisions, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, manage expectations, and communicate project progress effectively.
  • Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that GCP solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Resource Management : Allocate and manage resources, including team members, vendors, and budget, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience :

o 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a strong focus on GCP and cloud-based solutions.

o Proven experience in the retail industry, with an understanding of retail operations, systems, and customer experience.

Technical Skills :

o Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud architecture, API Development , deployment, and management.

o Strong knowledge of retail systems such as POS, eCommerce platforms, inventory management, and customer analytics.

o Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (., Jira, Confluence).

  • Leadership Skills : Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • GCP certification (., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning solutions in a retail context.
