SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
ABOUT THE JOB :
Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a healthcare network company. Your essential duties will include providing your team with answers to financial information requests, preparing monthly reports, maintain multiple general ledgers, review and post journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations, review actual to budget variance reports, review and approve invoices for coding, month-end close, review annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts and more.
Bottom line, you will ensure the integrity of accounting information for the company and maintain strict confidentiality to ensure that information is safeguarded.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
- College degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a healthcare environment.
- Must have experience in a leadership role to motivate and manage a team.
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel : VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and / or other accounting software programs
- Strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills.
