Hospice Nurse Practitioner - PRN

Performs history and physical assessment to address the appropriateness of admission, medications required and self-administration status, and identification of special conditions and / or care required.
Collaborate with designated registered nurse coordinating visits to ensure timely and efficient services.Collaborates with referring physician concerning assessment findings, diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
Ensures regulatory compliance of all clinical practices with all federal and state regulations governing hospice agencies, organizational policies, and billing compliance within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner.
Prescribes medication and therapeutic measures for pain and symptom management, within bounds of the Nurse Practitioner Act.
