Core Responsibilities
- Oversee organizational contract development and management activities.
- Enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
- Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained.
- Support multiple aspects of the proposal process; pricing, price to win strategies, contracts, subcontracts, assumptions, terms and agreements, etc.
- Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language, and provisions.
- Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
- Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations.
- Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments.
- Interface with external and internal customers.
- Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations.
- Leads and conducts TAs and NDAs, contract negotiation, and administration of major contracts.
- Monitor performance for conformance against all past, current, and future contracts.
- Serve as advisor regarding contractual requirements, risk mitigation, customer specifications and government regulations.
- Manage and administer company contracts including preparing pricing and contract.
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
- Detect issues related to contract administration and proposals and recommend solutions.
- May assist in the development and maintenance of contract database.
- Serve in a variety of ad hoc roles to include, but not limited to proposal writing, pricing, editing, and reviewing.
Requirements : Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, legal studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of contract management experience is required.
- Experience interfacing with technical teams.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial / analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
