Responsibilities
- Mechanical and electrical skills helpful but not required.
- Landscaping skills helpful but not required.
- Grounds upkeep including mowing grass with push mower, edging, weed eating, trimming bushes and trees and blowing off roads.
- Clean and mop marble floors in mausoleums.
- Operate all hand and power tools associated with the cemetery. Operate tractor and attached trailer and other equipment.
- Apply sod over graves and other areas utilizing the golf cart.
- Ensure proper set-up for funeral services including tent placement over the grave.
- Lay out graves in the cemetery and complete all duties for opening and closing graves.
- Work funeral services, including assisting with parking, in a respectful manner.
- Complete all duties for monument installation.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
