JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments.
Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Urgent Care teams at Samaritan Health Services treat conditions that require immediate attention but are not considered to be life-threatening or severe enough to be cared for in the hospital emergency department.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required. Three (3) years experience in a clinic setting required.
Previous leadership / supervisory experience required. Healthcare Provider BLS required. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Communication - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues.
Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.# Adaptability / Flexibility - Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations that may arise with high risk or diverse patient populations.
