ENTRY LEVEL LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support to the Legal / Compliance team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Daily reports to Underwriting Training and Leadership on production requirements / stats
- Communicate team performance levels to Leadership and Training team
- Create reporting for all metrics needed
- Work with the teams to distribute new Underwriter assignments to our individual Underwriting pods
- Assign new underwriting team members to pods based on production balancing
- Manage the seating chart for the entire team including coordinating moves
- Manage email distribution lists
- Maintain Underwriting team roster
- Complete expense reports
- May deal with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
- Act as project coordinator for special projects, at the request of the manager, which may include : planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information coordinating mailings, creating written material
- Responsibilities include answering multiple phone lines.
- Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary
- Performs secretarial and record keeping duties with various degrees of complexity
- Types and designs general correspondences, memos charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, extensive reporting, etc.
- Strong MS Office skills
- Communicates effectively both verbally and non-verbally
- High sense of urgency
- Ability to multi-task and think on your feet
- Excellent organizational and client service skills
- Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to assist others
- Mortgage and / or Financial industry experience - Preferred
- HS Diploma
