Locum Radiologist Opportunity – $318–$338 / hour | Sioux City, IA

Location : Sioux City, Iowa

Coverage Needed : August 4–8 | September 15–19 | September 29 – October 3

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM | No weekends, no call

Position Overview

A well-established hospital in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with mammography and fluoroscopy training for short-term weekday coverage. This low-stress locum assignment features a supportive clinical team, modern imaging technology, and a great work-life balance— no nights, no weekends, and no call .

Schedule Summary

Weekday shifts only (8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM)

No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities

20 shifts / month if full-time

Practice Setting & Scope

Facility Type : Hospital-based Radiology Department (inpatient and outpatient mix)

Support Team : 1 : 1 nursing ratio

Multiple ancillary staff

3 exam rooms per provider

Patient Volume : ~111 per day

Imaging Services Include :

X-rays, MRIs, CTs, Mammograms, Ultrasounds

Specialized procedures : Swallow studies, BE, Myelograms, LPs

Duties Include :

Reviewing and interpreting diagnostic imaging

Performing image-guided interventional procedures

Coordinating care with referring physicians

Optional teaching opportunities

Technology

EMR : Cerner

Imaging Software : Powerscribe

On-site Lab & Pharmacy

Compensation

Hourly Rate : $318–$338 / hour

Travel & Lodging : Covered

Licensing & Certification Fees : Reimbursed

Malpractice Insurance : Provided

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Radiology – Required

Active Iowa License or IMLC with LOQ in hand – Required

Fellowship training in General Radiology with Mammography & Fluoroscopy – Required
