Information System Security Officer
Key Role :
Review, implement, and manage procedures and analyze policies to ensure database and sof tware security. Apply specific functional, working, or general industry knowledge.
Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications :
2+ years of experience with working as an Information System Security Officer ( ISSO ) with Information Te chn ology, Cybersecurity, or IT Service Management
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) and Authority to Operate ( ATO ) processes
Experience with cybersecurity guidance, including strategies and whitepapers, and analyzing policies
Experience with Vulnerability Management tools, including Nessus, ACAS, HBSS, or Fortify
Experience with cybersecurity threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities
Experience with Windows or Linux systems
Ability to codify processes and procedures, and collaborate with other teams to determine gaps
TS / SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ or CASP+
Additional Qualifications :
Experience in a consulting environment and communicating te chn ical subjects to clients clearly
Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices
Experience with enterprise environments and cloud architecture, including AWS or Azure
Experience with continuous process improvement
Experience with a System Information and Event Management ( SIEM ) tool
Knowledge of the configuration management process, including CTF, RFC, and SIA processes
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master’s degree in a te chn ical field
DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification, including CISSP
Clearance :
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;
TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
