Communication Across Barriers (CAB) is a national and international consulting firm dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in America for over 35 years. Founded by Dr. Bob Fulford, University of Portland professor and Dr. Donna Beegle, a recognized poverty expert, the company provides realistic and memorable strategies for individuals, organizations, and communities to lift people out of poverty. CAB offers a range of services including keynote presentations, trainings, organizational assessments, and custom curriculum design. Driven by Dr. Beegle’s commitment, CAB aims to broaden opportunities for those living in poverty and assist communities in fighting poverty effectively.

Role Description

This is a project based role for a Research Editor at Communication Across Barriers, located in Portland, OR. The Research Editor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research, analyzing data, editing, and proofreading various texts, and ensuring the accuracy and clarity of the content produced. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with team members, refining written materials, and contributing to the development of educational resources and customized action plans.
