SUMMARY :

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for fabricating thermoplastic products to meet customer quality requirements, while meticulously following process instructions and maintaining accurate records of inspection and material usage.

Additionally, adhering to standard operating procedures and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards through visual inspection, testing, and documentation of results.

Schedule : 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Fabricate thermo-plastic products and / or materials that meet customer quality requirements.
• Ensure that accurate records of inspection, time and material usage are kept.
• Ensure that all process instructions are followed when fabricating customer parts.
• Maintain work area cleanliness.
• Maintain part traceability and identification requirements.
• Maintain raw material storage area in a neat and organized fashion.
• Perform all duties in accordance with specific Work Orders using proper equipment, material usage, packaging, etc.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety protocols maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Inspection product by means of visual examination, testing, verify measurements and documenting results.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Seeks ways to improve and promote quality.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, attention to detail.
• Adapts well to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands.
• Takes responsibility for own actions.
• Standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
• Regularly lifts and / or moves up to 10 pounds. Frequently lifting / moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
