Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll within assigned departments.Calculate payroll adjustments, including wages, PTO balances, and alternate rates.Perform W-4 and direct deposit maintenance and coordinate pay-related entries.Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy by working with timekeepers and managers.Train timekeepers and team members on Timekeeping software to ensure compliance.Analyze reports and data to provide ongoing payroll guidance as the designated Master Timekeeper .Clearly communicate errors and adjustments through Case Management .Maintain detailed documentation of timekeeping environment setups.Join us and help shape an efficient and service-driven payroll experience!Qualifications
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Business or 2 years payroll experienceMicrosoft Office Suite experienceCritical thinking skills and detail orientedFPC or CPP Certification preferredExperience :
3 years of payroll experience in the areas of administration, processing, analysis and customer serviceSkills :
MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Knowledge of Federal, State and local tax regulationsComplex knowledge of payroll processing and software.Leadership and communication skills around efficiency, clarity, and diplomacyStrong customer service skills and a customer focusStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively and work with all levels of employees throughout the UnityPoint Health, its subsidiaries and affiliates.Infor-Lawson and UKG Workforce experience preferred
