Insurance Applications Specialist

As an Insurance Applications Specialist, you will work closely with an Underwriter to learn the intricacies of reviewing insurance applications. This is a crucial position where you'll ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, a key step in determining eligibility for coverage. You'll use your strong organizational and communication skills to manage a high volume of work, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

Must be available to work between the hours of 8 : 00am - 6 : 15pm. Not able to request PTO during the months of October - January.

Key responsibilities include :

• Assisting agents with application questions and providing insights into the likelihood of acceptance.
• Logging applications and ensuring all required forms are correctly submitted.
• Calculating premiums and managing any payment discrepancies.
• Conducting follow-up calls to agents and applicants to verify information.
• Ordering and tracking necessary requirements both before and after an application is issued.
• Conducting non-medical telephone interviews with applicants as needed.
