Diesel Mechanic Supervisor

We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic Supervisor who takes pride in their work and appreciates the benefits of working for a growing, successful company. We are looking for a mechanic with a minimum of 5 years' experience with diesel engines and trailer repairs. We are also looking for a mechanic that has experience in supervising a team of mechanics and shop operations. Our mechanics perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and overhaul trucks and trailers at our maintenance shop. Some facilities work may be required, which may include equipment maintenance and inspections and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

RMT Quality Repair is a smaller shop which means you won't be stuck doing just oil changes. All of our mechanics do every type of work in our shop. This is your opportunity to use all of your skills and maybe learn new ones, which will make you an even more valuable member of our team!

Pay : $35 - $45. Actual rate of pay depends upon experience.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of trucks, trailers and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Comply with all federal and state vehicle requirements.
• Morning Meetings with employees.
• Scheduling - Monitoring employee hours.
• Overseeing daily activies in the shop and with employees work.
• Weekly call with Facility Managers.
• Weekly check on consumables and supply list.
• Contribute to improving safety, and effieciency within RMT QR operations and the shop.
