Description Job Summary We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in San Antonio, TX . This is a clinic-based position with no OR, inpatient, evening, weekend, or call duties . The provider will work independently in the outpatient clinic, primarily seeing post-operative and follow-up patients while collaborating closely with the supervising orthopedic surgeon. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits Manage chronic musculoskeletal conditions and acute orthopedic injuries in an outpatient setting Order, interpret, and review imaging and diagnostic studies Provide injections, splinting, and other minor in-office procedures as appropriate Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and rehabilitation goals Collaborate with the orthopedic surgeon and care team to ensure seamless patient management See patients independently while the surgeon is in the OR Qualifications Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) Previous orthopedic experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-based approach Schedule & Compensation Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM No weekends, evenings, or call responsibilities Competitive salary commensurate with experience Full benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, malpractice insurance, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
