Job Title : Operating Room RN
Location : Hartsville, SC 29550
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in Hartsville, SC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
This role requires a team-oriented individual who is committed to delivering excellence in patient safety and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for scheduled procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and condition during surgery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure patient safety.
- Follow all aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent infection and maintain a controlled surgical environment.
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Must-Haves :
- SC Nursing License : Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
- Experience : At least one year of experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
- Relocation : Must be willing to relocate to Hartsville, SC, or live in a nearby area.
Qualifications :
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a hospital surgical setting or outpatient surgery center.
- CNOR certification (Certified Perioperative Nurse) is a plus.
